Mickey Shaviv has done it all in the Israeli music scene, from bass player and band member for Arik Einstein and Shalom Chanoch, to Rock star fronting his own trio “Tango”, to writing and performing Blues in Hebrew with a band of young musicians he dubbed ” the Blue Eyed Brotherhood”, later joining forces with Mika Karny as co-writer, singer, bass and guitar player, as well as producer for many hit making albums, and finally, returning to the Blues with the Big Bad Boogie Band. Mickey has a unique style on the guitar that combines Jazz harmonies and riffs influenced by Lenny Breau, as well as classic Blues guitar playing in the spirit of Magic Sam and Muddy Waters.
